The Physician Assistant will provide clinical support and patient care across a wide range of services, including acute concerns, medication management, patient education, and advanced therapeutic procedures.

Patient Care & Clinical Support

  • Serve as a primary clinical resource for patient questions, symptoms, treatment concerns, and medication requests.
  • Assess and manage acute and chronic health issues within established practice protocols.
  • Provide patient education regarding medications, therapies, procedures, and follow-up care.
  • Support prescription management and refill requests.
  • Educate patients on self-administered injectable therapies, including hormone and peptide treatments.
  • Ensure timely escalation of complex clinical concerns to physicians when appropriate.

Advanced Therapy Services

  • Support and monitor patients undergoing Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE).
  • Assist with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), including patient preparation, education, monitoring, and follow-up.
  • Participate in IV infusion therapies, injections, phlebotomy services, and additional wellness-based treatments.
  • Assist with regenerative medicine procedures and occasional support during stem cell treatments.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and care coordinators.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Monitor clinical supplies and equipment to support uninterrupted patient care.
  • Help ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • NCCPA Certification
  • Active, unrestricted Colorado Physician Assistant license with national certification and DEA authority or ability to obtain
  • 5+ years of clinical experience as a practicing PA.
  • Experience with injections, IV therapies, phlebotomy, and procedural patient care.
  • Previous experience with regenerative medicine, infusion services, hyperbaric medicine, or similar specialty therapies is preferred but not required.
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
