Located in a vibrant community 15–20 minutes inland from the Grand Strand and within easy reach of Charleston, this opportunity blends professional growth with an exceptional coastal lifestyle.
The Opportunity
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8–5 | Friday 8–12
- Workload: 36 clinical hours + 4 admin hours weekly
- Call: Shared rotation for results/urgent questions only (no inpatient); after-hours triaged by nurse line
- Support: Dedicated nurse + full support staff
- Technology: Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation & Ambient AI charting tools
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Conduct DOT and pre-employment physicals
- Perform return-to-work and fitness‑for‑duty evaluations
- Assess and manage work‑related injuries, illnesses, and exposures (acute and follow‑up care)
- Oversee drug/alcohol testing, immunizations, TB screening, OSHA respirator clearance
- Provide acute care for strains, sprains, lacerations, contusions, chemical exposures, and foreign bodies
- Manage follow‑up visits, modified-duty planning, and work-status reassessments
- Offer clinical guidance on safety initiatives, return-to-work pathways, and risk assessments

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PA program; South Carolina license (or eligibility)
- NCCPA Certification
- 1–2+ years of experience in occupational health, urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care
- DOT Certification (FMCSA)
