The largest integrated health care system in Connecticut, which employs 2,500 providers across over 400 practice locations, is adding a Movement Disorder Neurologist.

The Institute enjoys the resources of a system committed to excellence in patient quality and experience and boasts an impressive staff of 135 Neuroscience physicians and advanced practitioners with training and expertise in the areas of vascular neurology, neuro-oncology, neuromuscular, movement disorders, epilepsy, headache, pain management, cognitive neurology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care, neuro ophthalmology, and general neurology.

About the Opportunity:

  • A rapidly expanding Institute with a focus on comprehensive patient care, academics, and research.
  • Practice within a premier signature program of the Ayer Neuroscience Institute, alongside a highly-skilled team of neurologists, advanced practitioners, neuropsychologists, and social workers.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for a diverse panel of patients with movement disorders and leverage direct, onsite support services ranging from rehabilitation and behavioral health to holistic medicine and exercise classes.
  • Join a program that is one of the first facilities to be designated as a Comprehensive Care Center by the Parkinson’s Foundation’s prestigious Global Care Network, which recognizes the Center’s exemplary multidisciplinary care.
  • Work within a trusted integrated healthcare system that puts the expertise of talented physicians across all specialties together to help treat and care for patients who suffer from ongoing conditions.
  • Conduct clinical trials and research dedicated to finding new effective treatments for movement disorders and become involved in mentoring students, providers, and physicians-in-training who will serve the community in the future.
  • This opportunity is available for BC/BE Neurologists with fellowship training in movement disorders.
