A well-respected healthcare organization has a new opening for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive occupational health and primary care services at an on‑site clinic located within a paper manufacturing facility in northeastern South Carolina, near the North Carolina border. This is a hospital‑employed position offering a predictable weekday schedule, strong compensation and benefits, and the opportunity to practice with a high level of autonomy while caring for a consistent patient population.

Position Details

  • On‑site clinic located within a large manufacturing facility
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • 36 hours per week
  • No call, no nights, no weekends
  • Patient volume of approximately 6-10 patients per day
  • Care provided to employees and their dependents is covered under the health plan
  • This role will serve as the sole provider at the clinic
  • Medical Assistant support may be added in the future based on patient volume

Scope of Practice

  • Care for employees and their dependents
  • Occupational health and workers’ compensation cases
  • Injury care and minor procedures (e.g., suturing)
  • DOT physicals and drug screenings
  • Sick visits and primary care services

Candidate Qualifications

  • Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • Preferred: 2+ years of clinical experience in occupational medicine, primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal on‑site support
  • Proficient in physical exams and minor procedures
  • DOT certification is not required at hire, but must be obtained after joining.
