A physician-led community hospital in Eastern North Carolina is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established Emergency Department team. This opportunity offers a predictable schedule, physician assistant support, and the flexibility to live in several desirable North Carolina communities.

Position Highlights

• 12 shifts per month
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m)
• One physician coverage on days and nights
• Physician Assistant support
• Structured handoff at the end of each shift
• Approximately 32,000 annual Emergency Department visits
• 22-bed Emergency Department
• Average patient acuity of ESI 3-4
• Hospitalist support available
• 24/7 Radiology coverage
• Air and ground transport available for higher-acuity patients
• On-site General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology support
• Physician-led practice environment
