Connecticut's largest and most integrated health system has an opening for a Hospice and Palliative Care Medical Director. This physician-led organization includes a robust network of hospitals, medical groups, and specialty services dedicated to delivering innovative, high-quality care while fostering professional growth and well-being.

About the Opportunity:

• Lead a long-running palliative-care program based at a 414-bed acute-care community teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
• The program provides specialized support for people living with serious illness, with an emphasis on quality of life and relief of physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual distress. Importantly, palliative care is not limited to the last days of life and does not mean that curative treatment has to stop
