A not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in Southeastern Massachusetts is adding a Surgical Critical Care Physician. The system provides a wide range of services, including primary care, specialty care, urgent care, and hospital-based treatment through its network of physicians and facilities. With over 150 doctors across multiple locations, it emphasizes coordinated, team-based care and advanced medical technology to improve patient outcomes.

About the Opportunity:

• Join a surgical team of licensed, highly trained professionals dedicated to providing the safest possible patient experience.
• Split clinical responsibilities between Surgical Critical Care / ICU coverage and
• General Surgery
• Combined ICU caring for both surgical and medical patients
• Opportunity to help build a multidisciplinary ICU team consisting of surgeons, pulmonologists, and anesthesiologists
• Opportunity to participate in the development of a Surgical Step-Down Unit
• Opportunities to participate in surgery resident and PA education
• State-of-the-art minimally invasive surgery with the daVinci 5 platform
• Candidates with prior team leadership or programmatic development experience are preferred
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgical Critical Care required
