A small, nonprofit community hospital serving the Lake Sunapee region of central New Hampshire has an opening for a Primary Care Medical Director. This 25-bed critical access hospital provides a wide range of healthcare services, including 24-hour emergency care, primary care, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, and surgical services. As part of a major academic health system, the hospital combines local, personalized care with access to a larger network of specialized medical resources.

About the Opportunity:

• 60% clinical and 40% Admin/Director duties
• Medical Directors will carry their own patient panel
• 100% outpatient position
• EPIC EMR
• The average daily patient census is 16-18
• No call
• Not-for-profit critical access hospital with ties to the academic medical center
• The ideal candidate will have an interest in value-based care
• Physicians with Director experience preferred
• The compensation package includes a high base salary, a signing bonus, and relocation assistance
