A 155-bed community-based teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia has an opening for a Family Medicine Residency Program Faculty Physician.

About the Opportunity:

• Will provide Family Medicine full-spectrum, continuity patient care in an outpatient clinic
• Candidate must enthusiastically participate in resident education
• GME faculty experience is not required; the position requires a candidate who is passionate about teaching and supervising residents learning to provide the full spectrum of Family Medicine, and who has an interest in learning the foundational principles of graduate medical education with the goal of becoming an effective and efficient faculty member. 
• The position requires teaching and supervising residents, providing low-risk prenatal and postpartum care. 
• The position offers opportunities for teaching and supervising residents in the delivery of inpatient care and low-risk obstetrics.

The new state-of-the-art, 39,000 sq. ft. facility is located on the hospital's campus; a physicians’ lounge with meals provided; a 24-hour all-access employee fitness center; and a state-of-the-art training center with simulation labs, a conference center, and more!
