Great River Health is a regional health care system based in West Burlington, Iowa, that serves residents in southeast Iowa, west-central Illinois, and northeast Missouri. GRH serves a predominantly rural area and offers many of the same services found in larger hospitals so that their patients do not have to travel for quality medical care. The challenge at Great River Health was hiring physicians in specialties that are in high demand as well as specialties with a small pool of physicians.
