One of the largest healthcare organizations in Connecticut, which provides a team-oriented, thriving patient care experience across a growing network of 4,000 Providers, is adding an inpatient Psychiatrist in the eastern part of the state. Practice with a team of providers, including another psychiatrist and a psychiatric APRN, providing care for individuals requiring behavioral health or substance use services, and also providing psychiatric consultations for patients admitted to other services and the ER, if needed

About the opportunity:

• 100% inpatient
• 213-bed acute care community hospital with an 18-bed inpatient adult unit
• After-hours weekday call is shared with four other psychiatrists and is paid for separately. The weekend call is optional and paid separately.
