Pediatric Hospitalist Opening in Central Maine – One Hour to Portland

A reputable non-profit hospital in central Maine is adding a Pediatric Hospitalist. You will be part of a team of dedicated physicians who will contribute to the well-being of our patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Position: 

  • Your choice of either 10 night shifts per month or 13-day shifts per month
  • Provide care for well-newborns, Level II NICU and delivery attendance, pediatric inpatients, and emergency department consults
  • State-of-the-art 190-bed facility
  • 12 or 24-hour shifts available.
  • In-house support from OBs, midwives, anesthesia, emergency medicine, and family medicine
  • Pediatric subspecialty/NICU/PICU support available by phone
  • Teaching responsibilities
  • Average daily census of 4-6 patients
