A well-established medical group is seeking a full-time General Surgeon to join its team of three full-time surgeons. This established practice includes general, colorectal, laparoscopic, breast, wound care, endoscopy, and colonoscopy services, but it also welcomes growth opportunities for new services.

About the Opportunity:

• Trauma level 3 hospital with the closest level 1 trauma center 1 hour away
• Non-profit, mid-sized, rural, community-governed 501(c)3 charitable healthcare organization
• The referral base draws from 7 clinics and a primary service area supporting a population of 101,000
• Will be1:4 on-call
• ED is staffed by employed ER-boarded physicians 24/7, Hospitalist coverage 24/7, and a full anesthesia team. In-house specialty support
• Board certification preferred/board eligibility required
• ATLS & ACLS required
• Active Minnesota Medical License upon hire

Compensation & Benefits:

• Guaranteed annual salary for the first two years of employment ($500K) with the opportunity for additional income based on production hours worked
