Enterprise Medical Recruiting assists this South Carolina health system in recruiting a Board-Certified General Surgeon.

Opportunity

• Experience needed to function as a solo surgeon (will be the only full-time General Surgeon at this location)
• 2 PRN surgeons providing coverage and locums providing coverage to help with call and weekends
• All aspects of GS- upper/lower endoscopies, basic laparoscopic surgeries, some trauma (rural area)
• Receive referrals from hospitalists and ER physicians
• Income guarantee of $450,000 or $55-$58/wRVU, depending on experience

Office Details:

• Office open Monday-Thursday 8-5P Friday 8-12P
• Office averages around 30 patients/day on Tuesday and Wednesday
• Surgery days are Monday and Thursday
• Friday- Surgeries/office

Hospital Details

• 24-hour call- locums are available to help with call coverage when needed.
• They have 2 locum providers that cover weekday call and office.
• They have 3 locum providers that cover weekends only.
• They also have 1 PRN provider that covers call every other week and works in the office.

Community

• This is a rural location about 30 minutes from the main campus in Florence.
• They have great support from the Florence campus.
