The EMS Program
1. We do the initial research for you. We spend considerable time with each organization we represent. This allows us to get a feel for the practice. Is it a private practice, clinic, hospital, or university? How many and what type of cases are seen? What is the payer mix? What is the call rotation? We also seek to understand the community environment and the cultural and educational opportunities available.
2. We talk with you at length to learn your needs and goals: career goals, training and experience, personal needs, family considerations, and outside interests.
3. Based on this information your recruiter seeks a position where your goals and the needs of the practice can best be met. We also offer interview preparation and review and updating of your CV as necessary.
4. EMS will support you through the interview process and will represent your interests in contract negotiations.
5. Once a position has been accepted, your recruiter will follow up as you begin your new job--in the first 2 weeks, and again after 2-3 months. This follow up is to ensure that your transition is smooth and stress-free.
